AGE RESTRICTIONS & DRIVING LICENSE

Driver’s minimum age for the groups A, B, C, D is 21 years old. For groups AT, E, 7 Seater, 9 Seater, 9 Seater +, minimum age is 23 years old. 
The Driver is required to have and display a valid Driver’s License issued at least 2 years ago. 
Citizens of Non- EU countries are required to have a valid international Drivers’ License along with their regular Drivers’ License.

ADDITIONAL DRIVER

One (1) additional driver can be registered without any additional charge. Maximum two (2) drivers including the main driver are allowed per rental.  
There are no extra charges for additional driver.

TRAFFIC OFFENCES

All penalties related to traffic and/or parking offences are the responsibility of the renter.  
The owner undertakes, in the event that the owner receives notice of any traffic or parking offenses incurred by the renter, to send a copy of any such notice to the renter as soon as is practicable and to provide the necessary information to the relevant issuing authority for such notices to be directed to the renter.

DRIVING RESTRICTIONS

The vehicle is prohibited from being driven outside the Greek borders as well as ferrying or transporting by train or other means of transport.
All insurances will be voided and the renter will be responsible for any damage caused if the vehicle is driven elsewhere than Crete Island.

BABY / CHILD / BOOSTER SEATS

We offer 3 different types of child seats (baby seats, child seats, booster seats), according to the kg of the child. We offer them uppon request and free of charge. The renter is responsible for the correct installation of the seat inside the car.

GPS / ROAD MAP

Upon delivery, you will get a recent map of Crete island free of charge, with our suggestions for places to vist and things to do in Crete! 
We can also offer you a GPS Sat nav device (4.3″ screen) with the most recent map of Greece, with latin character map, available in 17 languages. 
The cost is €5 per day. Advanced booking is required and minimum cost per rental is €30. 
The customer is liable for misplacing or damaging the GPS unit/mount to a maximum charge of €100.

FUEL POLICY

Option 1 Return as Collected

The renter has to return the vehicle with at least  the same level of petrol as delivered. Vehicles delivered during the night (out of office hours), have at least half tank of petrol filled. 
This will be enough to drive you anywhere in the island. We never deliver cars with fuel less than 1/4 of the tank. In addition our representative will be willing to give you directions to the nearest petrol stations in the area you will stay.

Option 2 Collect Full & Return Empty

The client has to pay locally for the initial tank of fuel. The car should then be returned with the tank as empty as possible, since there is no refund for unused fuel. 

NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES ON FLIGHT DELAYS

All our employees are always informed for your arrival time, as well as last minute flight schedule changes that might occur. 
They will wait for your arrival flight in order to deliver you the booked vehicle.

CLEANING SERVICE, ENGINE CHECK AND PROMPT ATTENTION

We deliver the cars perfectly clean. The interior part is sanitised according to COVID-19 rules of Greece.
Our well-trained staff, both engineers and front-desk personnel, are frequently checking the vehicles in order to make sure the cars delivered in perfect condition.
All our cars are 5 years old or newer and we are able to guarantee that you will be delivered a safe, well maintained and well serviced vehicle.

CAR REPLACEMENT

In case of the unfortunate event of an accident/breakdown resulting in the immobilisation of the vehicle, your car will be replaced with another one within 24 hours from the time the accident/breakdown has been reported.
Our company has the right to investigate the causes of the accident/breakdown and deny the replacement of the car if the use of the car was against terms & conditions.

TYRE DAMAGES

Non-repairable burst tyres are not covered by the insurance.  If the tyre is repairable the customer may repair it and the company is obliged to refund any costs.

KEY LOSS

The customer is liable for all costs to replace keys which have been lost or damaged, the cost of retrieval of keys which have been locked inside a vehicle.

MILEAGE

Unlimited mileage (km) are included in our rates.

TAXES

V.A.T (Value Added Tax) 24% is always included in our rates.
